Politicians Are Liars

And Nancy Pelosi Leads the Way:  "We were not -- I repeat -- were not told that waterboarding or any of these other enhanced interrogation methods were used," Pelosi said on April 23.
But as she tried today to lie her way out of her lie, the official recorded briefings of September 4, 2002 show differently. 
That memo says Pelosi received a "briefing on EITs (enhanced interrogation techniques), including use of EITs on Abu Zubaydah, background on authorities and a description of particular EITs that had been employed."
Good try, Nancy, but not good enough!  Is your term up in 2010, or do we have to wait till...?

First 100 Days?

Please, don't get me wrong, I am NOT celebrating this idiots achievements as he and his administration have achieved NOTHING but anguish among the working class, pushed government control over the edge of common Democracy, placed the poor deeper into the lines of handouts, made mockery of moral and personal values by placing tax cheats, abortionists and ethics violators in every Cabinet post available and then forcing an agenda upon the citizens of these United States that reads of a dictatorship like non other than Hitlers!
Politicians are liars by virtue of existence.  But in 100 days this president has placed himself at the top of the list.  We were to expect that most bills would be placed on the White House website for 5 days for public scrutiny...but only 1 in 100 have made the posting, why?  Call the White House and ask!
We are now a Socialist Society, waiting for the government to tell us what to do next.  Is this Obama's fault?  No, not really, it is the Puppeteers that are pulling his strings, the Reids, the Pelosis, the Socialist bill writers of the far left that have gained power that will be the end of this Great Nation.
Has Obama done anything but sign this Nations demise?  Every stroke of his pen is pushing the United States deeper into debt, deeper into dependency upon more government control.  It will end only when the citizens have had enough.  But with the increasing demand by those with their hands out, not willing to take control of their own destiny, the vote has been cast.  It was cast back in November 2008, when every conceivable "gift" was quaranteed by this administration...that a vote for Obama was a vote for laziness, a vote for government control.
The media is having a field day with this 100 day celebration.  NBC, ABC, CBS, CNN...all are thriving on the failure of America.  All are assisting in the destruction of what this country has represented for nearly 233 years...that of "Limited Government, Free Enterprise and Personal Responsibility"...words of Pat Toomey but echoed around this country by Freedom Loving Citizens......

Serve America Act

4/21/09 1:20 PM Pacific Time:  Hide your children...Obama has just signed the Serve America Act.  It's like the new era of the Hitler Youth.  Please, look it up, read it and then contact Washington.  This is just the start, folks...

Please take note of the section titled Service Learning: Youth Engagement Zone, Section 1, around the bottom of page 9 of the PDF file...

"(B) by the end of the fifth year of the grant period—
(i) not less than 90 percent of the students in those schools will have participated in service-learning activities as part of the project; or
(ii) service-learning will be a mandatory part of the curriculum in all of the secondary schools served by the local educational agency;"

The Silent Majority Has Spoken

Place several thousand Conservatives in motion at any given place, add some concerned Liberals and a host of Libertarians and what you have is a grass roots energy storm that is hard to dodge.

The United States is being taken to the extreme side of Socialism and it has to be stopped.  It's not going to be easy, but every effort has to be made during the 2010 election to deplete the source of these Socialist elements from the ranks of the Elected.

The next time Hillary opens her mouth, I hope she speaks English and tells the truth!  Her astonishing remarks to Mexico, that the United States is to blame for the drug problems with Mexico is so irresponsible of a Secretary of State.
To set her story straight...the 90% of guns comment...

The fact is, only 17 percent of guns found at Mexican crime scenes have been traced to the U.S.  What's true, an ATF spokeswoman told FOXNews.com, in a clarification of the statistic used by her own agency's assistant director, "is that over 90 percent of the traced firearms originate from the U.S."But a large percentage of the guns recovered in Mexico do not get sent back to the U.S. for tracing, because it is obvious from their markings that they do not come from the U.S."Not every weapon seized in Mexico has a serial number on it that would make it traceable, and the U.S. effort to trace weapons really only extends to weapons that have been in the U.S. market," Matt Allen, special agent of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), told FOX News. A Look at the Numbers: In 2007-2008, according to ATF Special Agent William Newell, Mexico submitted 11,000 guns to the ATF for tracing. Close to 6,000 were successfully traced -- and of those, 90 percent -- 5,114 to be exact, according to testimony in Congress by William Hoover -- were found to have come from the U.S.But in those same two years, according to the Mexican government, 29,000 guns were recovered at crime scenes. In other words, 68 percent of the guns that were recovered were never submitted for tracing. And when you weed out the roughly 6,000 guns that could not be traced from the remaining 32 percent, it means 83 percent of the guns found at crime scenes in Mexico could not be traced to the U.S."

4-6-09:  Bill O'Reilly is upset that critics of the Obama administration are calling the administration Socialists.  OK, Bill, just what would you call an administration that, for only 3 months in office, has taken control over two of the Big 3 Auto Manufacturers, has given themselves the power to hire/fire CEO's of such companies, given power to Geithner to close down any company that he feels is a threat to the economy, spends more tax money than there is revenue, has set an agenda that requires all middle and high school students to perform 100 hours of community work per year, requires college students to perform 50 hours of community work per year, is organizing several "Corps" to perform community work...?  I believe Mr. O'Reilly is falling off the middle line and heading towards the left!  What Bill O'Reilly should do is read Obama's agenda before he makes comments about our concern for our Great Nation becoming a Socialist Society!
